Albanian police arrested Tuesday former Director General of Prisons, Artur Zoto, accused of “Passive corruption”.
Zoto was arrested after the Court of Serious Crimes ruled for him to be “remanded in custody”.
The verdict came on the request of Albanian General Prosecution Office.
Zoto has served as the Director General of Prisions from October 2013 to July 2016, when he resigned for “personal and family reasons.” /tvklan.al
