Former Chief State Prosecutor Adriatik Llalla reacted for the first time following the decision of the US State Department, in which Llalla and his family are banned to enter the United States with the argument that the former Chief Prosecutor was involved in significant corruption cases.

In a reaction to the American “The Wall Street Journal”, Adriatica Llalla denies these allegations and states that the State Department is misinformed by the US Ambassador in Tirana, Donald Lu.

Llalla said he was never placed under investigation by the Albanian authorities, and regarding his non-grata proclamation by the US, he said this is the result of a collision with US Ambassador to Tirana Donald Lu.

“I’m sure this is a decision taken by Ambassador Lu’s misinformation about me at the State Department”,

he said.

Llalla said he had no idea what evidence of corruption against him had the US, but blamed Ambassador Lu on this issue, saying “he misinformed them and did it deliberately”.

“He has attacked me, my family and all the troops of judges and prosecutors, treating us as criminals, personally and publicly denigrating us”
