Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj met in Brussels with the Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Avramolupos.
The Commissioner congratulated the Ministry of Interior on the measures taken and the results achieved so far in the fight against cannabis cultivation, integrated border management with a view to curbing irregular migration and illegal asylum, the fight against organized crime. He encouraged this standard to continue in the future, to ensure consistency in results.
Commissioner Avramopoulos:
