The Shkodër Court of Appeal has released 7 out of 11 Kukës citizens who were arrested after the violent clashes at the Nation’s Road, when the government started applying the toll fee.
Even though the jury decided not to accept additional evidence of the detainees’ lawyers, it ruled the ‘imposition’ of the 7 protesters and left 4 others in jail.
The court ruled the release of 7 protesters, among them Shpëtim Toda, Xhevahir Hereni, Elton Cengu, Shkëlqim Vata, Ervis Ruçi, Rasim Onuzi, Vasil Laci, Abdi Haziri and Edmond Matmuja.
Members of the Democratic Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration were also present at the court hearing./tvklan.al
