Prime Minister Edi Rama repeated several times on foreign ambassadors accredited in Tirana that Albania deserves the opening of EU membership negotiations, just as much as Serbia and Montenegro.
“We are very pleased that today Serbia and Montenegro negotiate membership, but we are convinced in a fourfold way, not with the opinion, but with the fact that we deserve as much as Serbia and as much as Montenegro at least to negotiate membership . Just as we are convinced that the same should happen for Macedonia and for Kosovo and for Bosnia and Herzegovina,”
Rama said in a meeting held on the occasion of the end of the year with the foreign ambassadors accredited in our country.
Prime Minister Rama urged the ambassadors to contribute for Albania to open negotiations with the EU in the coming months./tvklan.al
