Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will be subpoenaed in quality of witness in Emiljano Shullazi’s trial.

This Tuesday, the former Minister was at the Serious Crimes Court, where he gave his testimony of the threat about the two professors Kule and Koni in the trial that is taking place against defendant Emiljano Shullazi and his criminal gang .

In his testimony, Tahiri said he was aware of the threat posed by the public post of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and was surprised at the prosecution that he was not in the process to prove how he learned of this information.

Following his testimony and Shullazi’s attorney asked the court to call the former PM – Berisha.

This was commented from DP’s leader Lulzim Basha, was commented on as a complete tune between Tahiri and Shultz. In a reaction, he wrote:

“Saimir Shulzi and Emiliano Tahiri in full accord with each other seek the testimony of Sali Berisha. This, of course, is not a coincidence, but a coordinated effort between the two partners on the orders of Edi Rama to divert attention from the crimes and trafficking they are involved together. To ask Edi Rama to fight organized crime is the same as asking him to fight himself.”

Former Prime Minister Berisha denounced on April 2016 the intimidation of Rector Koni. His denunciation urged the prosecution to open an investigation which led to the arrest of Emiljano Shullazi./tvklan.al
