Democratic Party and Socialist Movement for Integrations held a closed-door meeting regarding the wiretapping on drug trafficking, mentioning former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri.

At the end of the meeting, DP- SMI came out with a joint statement demanding Prime Minister’s Edi Rama dismissal, as according to them, the elections of June 25th have been manipulated and Rama has bought his votes with money generated by drugs.

“This political front requires the immediate dismissal from the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama as the only for the situation created and his ties with the organized crime. This opposition front also requires the formation of a new anti-mafia government and a new electoral reform that would enable free and fair elections in Albania”,
