Theologian and Islamic law professor, Klodian Zaimaj, arrested by Malaysian police on October 6 this year, is intercepted by talking to members of the Philippine terror group known as “Abu Sayyaf”.

Also, Zaimaj, known by the Islamic name Ibrahim, was intercepted by the secret services talking through the phone with other members of the group who were arrested for acts related to terrorist acts in these countries.

These data are some of the results of the investigation. The investigation has revealed Zaimaj’s ties with elements of terrorist tendencies. The investigation by the Malaysian authorities had started in June this year.

After intercepting the telephone conversations, Zaimaj, was kept under Malaysian intelligence and local police’s observation.

Meanwhile during this time it is learned that there were movements in Albania, or in the Far East where he lived. These movements were also observed by the secret services, providing a complete picture of the ties and intentions of the Imam and the Albanian professor living in Kuala Lumpur.

The Albanian authorities have asked for more information from his Malaysian counterparts about his activity in this country, but so far no significant data have been obtained. On the other hand, Albanian authorities have conducted research in Albania on Klodian Zaimaj’s connections in our country. His parents have dismissed the charges and have publicly stated that their son was trapped./tvklan.al
