Italian authorities have destroyed a criminal organization consisting of Albanians and Italians occupied in international drugs and arms trafficking.
Three Albanians and four Italians were arrested during the operation called “Rosa dei venti”, and seized 20.000 euros cash.
The arrested Albanians are Moisi Habilaj 39, Maridian Sulaj, 29 and Fatmir Minaj 55, while Italians are Antonio Riela 46, Vincenzo Spampinato 44, Gianluca Passavanti 37 and Angelo Busacca 37 years old.
Investigations have found that the organization has transported over 3.5 tons of marijuana from the Albanian coast to Italy. Likewise, gang members have transported Kalashnikov and hundreds of ammunition.
