Prime Minister Edi Rama has hailed as an historic achievement for Albanians the adoption of the Albanian language law in the Macedonian Parliament.
“The Albanian Parliament’s parliamentary approval in Skopje is a historic achievement for the Albanians that democratizes and strengthens Macedonia itself”,
Rama said in social networks.
The Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia on Thursday approved 69 votes in favor of the Albanian language.
The law was voted on by Albanian parties and SDSM, while VMRO-DPMNE described it as unconstitutional./tvklan.al
