Majlinda Kelmendi was crowned Thursday the European Champion in judo.
The judoka from Kosovo won at the final against Russia’s Alesya Kuznetsova to win the championship held in Poland’s Warsaw.
The 25-years old Majlinda was crowned European Champion in 2014, 2016 and 2017; the world Champion in 2013 and the Olympic Champion in 2016 becoming a source of pride for Kosovo Albanians.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci congratulated Kelmendi for the victory, saying: “You showed you’re the judo queen of the world.”/tvklan.al
