Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama met Sunday night with Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta to discuss the future of Albania’s governing coalition.

The meeting comes hours after Socialist Party leader Edi Rama called for coalition renewal.

The Socialist Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration signed a coalition four years ago in April.

The Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and Justice Minister Petrit Vasili were also present at the meeting.

The diner between leaders lasted about four hours and none of them spoke to media while leaving. They met at a restaurant in capital Tirana.

It remains to be seen if the Socialist Party and the junior member of the governing coalition Socialist movement for integration will continue their cooperation or they will enter separately in the upcoming general elections of June 18./tvklan.al
