President Ilir Meta appreciated the relations with Italy in the field of defense of paramount importance and the cooperation between the Armed Forces as very important, both for the NATO and in the bilateral plan.
“Albania and Italy are two neighboring countries facing common challenges and dangers, which require successful cooperation and coordination between the Armed Forces,”
President Meta stressed.
President Meta and General Graziano shared the same view that preserving and guaranteeing the maritime and air borders and successfully coping with immigration, illicit traffic and terrorism remain a priority for the security of Albania, Italy and the Balkan region.
Likewise, the Head of State expressed gratitude to General Graziano for the continued assistance that Italy has given to our Armed Forces in their professional upgrading and support in the process of increasing the logistical capacities and experience in their overseas missions./tvklan.al
