On its 20th anniversary, the most popular political talk show in Albania, “Opinion”, this Thursday started at 14:00 in a marathon broadcast.

The journalist and at the same time its host, Blendi Fevziu, commemorated of “Opinion” broadcast, first went on air on 31 of August 1997.

The studio guests were Luan Hajdaragaj(former Defence Minister), Neritan Ceka(politician), and in the absence of Azem Hajdari(member of Albanian parliament 1991–1998), was his daughter Rudina Hajdari, also a politician.

“Opinion” will be broadcasted for about 20 hours, 12 of which will be “live”.

“More than a first-season show is a 20-year summary of “Opinion”, is a marathon broadcast and will last 20-hour limits, as long as the show is over. This evening we will also have a great ceremony, a sort of showdown and protagonists that have been guests for many years. We will have characters to come back, film material, aiming to be as transparent, semi-broadcast and semi-real, without montages and without anything hidden, just as “Opinion” outside the cameras works.”-

Fevziu said.

On 31 August 1997 Fevziu started “Sunday’s Debate” on TVSH (Public TV), a weekly political debate. On 26 September 1998 he moved to Klan Television and, from 1999, the show aired on Thursdays instead of Sundays.

In 2001, it was renamed “Opinion”, and from October 2006 it was broadcast twice a week. Since 2008, “Opinion” has aired four times a week, being the most popular political show in Albania.
