Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama on Tuesday of sabotaging the most important process in judicial reform, the vetting.

“Edi Rama has decided to sabotage vetting’s implementation in the first step. Following Edi Rama’s warrant, the majority has cut in the parliamentary commission with almost 40 percent, the demands of vetting commissions.”

Basha called this “a devilish step, sabotaging Justice Reform”.

The DP leader accused Rama of proclaiming himself as the champion of vetting, but by facts he was the defender of the gangs.

“ Edi Rama is sabotaging the first steps of Vetting and this for a very simple reason: Edi Rama must make up his mind, he cannot  be with both gangs with justice. He can not be the defender and beneficiary of the Gang of Elbasan, the band of Durrës, Vlora, Shkodra and Lezha, and on the other side proclaim as a champion of justice. Both do not stick to one place.”

He also informed the journalists that Democratic Party parliamentary group will present the vetting amendments next Thursday in parliament./tvklan.al
