Albanian government has launched consultations on the Diaspora and Migration Strategy New Project. The Minister of Diaspora hosted a meeting where he invited representatives of the diplomatic corps and representatives of SMI party. Democratic Party representatives were missing and this has concerned Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Minister Majko listed as priority of this project the right of the Albanian diaspora vote, which Prime Minister Rama sees as a condition to guarantee the credibility of the elections.
Prime Minister and Minister of Diaspora promised that all Albanians living abroad will be enrolled before the second Diaspora Summit in November 2018. On this project, the Albanian and Kosovo Diaspora will be treated as one./ tvklan.al
