The “power of law” operation has marked their first raid to a criminal group that had undertaken serious activities involving drug trafficking, murders and kidnappings in the Fier area. Three suspected persons as members of this criminal group were arrested. Kujtim Kuçi, 45, Bashkim Ahmeti (Kuçi), 43, both from Sulaj village of Fier, and Dritan Tusha, 47, Shijaku, have been arrested. Their weapons and narcotics were seized.
These people are suspected of having trafficked cocaine, heroin and cannabis drugs inside and outside Albania for years. They are also suspected of being involved in some serious events such as murder, kidnapping, and so on. In parallel with the criminal investigation, police have also launched an investigation into all assets owned by group members suspected of money laundering.
Police have seized, 1 complex of services , which includes hotel, restaurant, gas station, 2 vehicles, 2 flats in Tirana and 1 in Golem city. All three must face the accusations of “Production of Drugs Sales”, “Illegal Arms” and “Money Laundering”. /tvklan.al
