From the “Balkan Integration Summit to the European Union” held in Bulgaria, Prime Minister Edi Rama said the expectations in accelerating the integration process are high.

Bringing as example the assistance provided by the Balkan countries during the recent floods in Albania, the Prime Minister demanded the concrete implementation of the “Berlin Process” signed 3 years ago.

“We hope that the Berlin Process with the investments envisaged in infrastructure will become more concrete, leaving not only a seductive list of wishes”.

At the end of his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama addressed Boyko Borisov, his Bulgarian counterpart, the country that will receive the rotating presidency of the European Union.

“Thank you Boyko for this meeting and you have to understand that now, in our region is not just Merkel, but also you in whom we will see at least for the next six months, so you are obliged to be successful”./
