Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj, stated from Lezha city that State Police intends to strike important criminal groups operating in Shkodra and Lezha regions. Minister Xhafaj said he wanted the police in these circles to deal with the sequestration of criminal assets in these two districts.
“There has been done a good job from police to identify criminal groups of criminal. I also consider Kurbin district especially, but also Mirdita County. In the framework of the “Power of Law” operation, we are determined to crack down these criminal groups”.
He also expressed concern over the abuses of property found in the Lezha coast area.
“I am particularly concerned about the abuses of land and property on the coastline in Lezha. I hope and believe that the perpetrators of this battalion will face the justice”./
