Albanian government will give 100.000 Euro to help Greece as the wildfires have engulfed near Athens. The decision was made at a meeting this Wednesday saying it amounts to alleviating the consequences of the damage caused by July’s massive fires. The amount will be covered by the state budget reserve fund.

Shortly after the meeting, Prime Minister Rama confirmed that the Albanian government approved a donation in the name of solidarity.

“Albania feels particularly close to neighboring Greece in these tragic times for those who lost their loved ones and are facing the painful consequences of wildfires! The Albanian government just approved a donation in the name of solidarity with Greece”
