Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and his Kosovo counterpart Isa Mustafa were among western Balkans leaders that attended Sarajevo Summit on Thursday.

 Albanian Prime Ministry said in a statement that the summit brought together the prime ministers of Western Balkan countries aspiring to EU integration, namely the prime ministers of Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania.

European integration processes of Balkan countries, cooperation among them and the progress of regional cooperation through various projects on economy, transport, energy, and infrastructure were discussed at the summit.

The Summit is held in the framework of preparations for the next Summit of the representatives of Western Balkan countries and EU representatives, as a continuation of the Berlin Process, which after Berlin, Vienna and Paris, will be held in Trieste, Italy this year.

Albanian Prime Ministry said that at the conclusion of the Summit, the participants released a joint statement where they agreed on a further economic cooperation among Western Balkans countries, and on the possibilities of a common market which includes the movement of goods, services and capital, free movement of the skilled labour force, and a dynamic space for investments./tvklan.al
