Lulzim Basha has demanded the resignation of Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj, which Democrats accuse of hiding his legal and political responsibility by guaranteeing protection to his brother, Agron Xhafaj, sentenced for international drug trafficking in Italy for 7 years and 2 months in prison.
“On behalf of the Democratic Party, on behalf of the opposition, I call for the immediate removal of Fatmir Xhafaj from the office of the Minister of Interior. Albania can not afford to go from an internal narco-minister to another narco-minister”.
