In front of the governing structures of the Democratic Party in Durres city, opposition’s leader Lulzim Basha said that the only way to end Albania’s hostage by what he calls “the government of crime” is the unification of Albanians at the protest invoked by the opposition on January 27th.

Independent justice is also the leitmotif of the wave of protests that the opposition has warned. According to Basha, the legitimacy of the government has fallen and evidence of ties with the crime brought the case of the mayor of Durres and the OSHEE leader, whom the opposition accuses of criminals buying votes in elections by awarding them public tenders.

“Edi Rama has lost the right to the govern. Those who serve to the crime cannot serve to the poor. We want a justice that punishes the crime and corruption, which punishes Sajmir Tahir and his gang, and which punish the corrupt rulers”

.

According to Basha, massive participation in the protest  is a crucial step to move towards the creation of an anti-mafia government that will guarantee free and fair elections./tvklan.al
