Democratic Party accused Wednesday a Socialist Party Member of Parliament of benefiting more than $ 52 million from the Albanian state budget in tenders, during the last three years.

Democratic Party’s Grida Duma said that Xhemal Qefalia followed the same scheme as his follow Socialist Party MP, Sadri Abazi, who handed over the companies to his nephews.

“Qefalia’s company has had a modest activity and during 2013 did not benefit any money from the state budget. But, after PM Edi Rama came to power, it results that Qefalia has taken $ 52 million tenders for three years,” Duma said, adding that this was a very similar case with Sadri Abazi, who is the person behind the name of his nephews.

Duma said this was a corruption scandal proving that a bunch of man linked to the Prime Minsiter Edi Rama is stealing Albanian’s wealth. /tvklan.al
