The Democratic Party has addressed a resolution demanding a motion to debate the Assembly regarding Albania’s vote against the UN resolution on recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
According to the Democrats, the Albanian government’s approval of these resolutions hits the US decision as a flagrant act contrary to national interests.
The opposition says the government has acted without informing the Assembly without consulting the Foreign Affairs Committee, and excluding the President of the Republic from the decision-making consultative process.
For this reason, the Democratic Party wants to review the pro-government vote of the Albanian government and declare a non-approving attitude to this resolution./tvklan.al
