A strong blast of explosive in Shkodra city has caused 8 injuried. The incident took place in the “Rus” neighborhood of the northern city Saturday morning.

that the explosive was placed on a parked motorcycle in front of a shop along the street. From the blast explosive also a car has remained damaged, which was parked nearby when the incident occurred.
All the injured people were accompanied immediately to the hospital and three of them are in a serious health condition.There is also a considerable material damage.
The attempted attack target is suspected to be Lulzim Kulla, who had just left from his car, at the time of the explosion. He is severely injured and is receiving medical help at the Trauma hospital in Tirana. Other injured are Pjetër Arra, Gentian Suça, Ditmir Mufti, Arjola Gjonaj and a Montenegrin citizen Rajka Gardashevic.
Lulzim Kulla is known as a person with previous criminal record and is a familiar name for local police. In June last year, Kulla was arrested by the police for cannabis cultivation in the Dukagjin area of Shkodra. He was released after six months of imprisonment.
