The opening of 31 offices of economic diplomacy in different countries of the world has made Albania interested in investing many foreign companies.

Etien Xhafaj, Deputy Foreign Minister, says in an interview for Klan Television tha Albania, offers many opportunities for foreign investors, and even interest from the Latin American continent.

“Our focus has always been the quality. We want to attract as many companies as possible. But we have been also especially focused on the specific sectors, on the basis of which the Albanian economy will develop”

The two main problems continue to be the issue of ownership titles, which have become very important steps ahead but still need work.

Deputy Foreign Minister says the US State Department’s suggestions for improving the climate of doing business should be implemented, but Albania is not so “dark” land as it is described.

Foreign investments at the end of 2017 reached € 908 million, while in 2016 they had the largest growth in the years reaching € 943 million./tvklan.al
