European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn suggests where a possible agreement between Kosovo and Serbia should be focused.

“Any solution in the Balkans should provide more stability. The agreement between Serbia and Kosovo should be developed by the leaders of both countries. Progress has been made, but it is too soon to speak about the details”.

Hahn spoke from Vienna before the informal meeting between European foreign ministers and those of countries that aspire to be part of the union.

As the border review idea is being discussed in both countries, the prestigious “The Economist” in its analysis sees the most probable scenario of a final agreement between Pristina and Belgrade, which includes recognition of Kosovo’s independence at present borders, but also declaring the autonomy of the northern Serbian provinces./tvklan.al
