On the International Workers’ Day, the Ministry of Finance and the National Employment Service held at the Skanderbeg Square, the Job Fair, offering some 3000 thousand free jobs in various positions. 2 thousand other work positions are seasonal, mostly provided by the Observers Association (Shoqata e Vrojtuesve), as a coastal guard for the beach season.
The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Finance visited the Fair, convinced that there is a large number of vacancies, but there is lack of professionals.
The Prime Minister had set targets for offering job positions to 25 thousand citizens registered as unemployed. Only for April, the target was 2500, while the figures of the National Employment Service speak for over 2,600 employees./tvklan.al
