Democrat MPs blocked the parliamentary podium following the speech of opposition’s leader Lulzim Basha. The latter asked the Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi to expel the Prime Minister Rama from the parliament because of his unethical use of language during last week parliamentary’s session.

Basha accused PM Edi Rama of demanding the arrest of Kukës citizens which protested against Nation Road’s toll.

The DP leader demanded the release of 11 protesters who are jailed for violent protests.

Lulzim Basha has also called on all citizens to protest and denounce any injustice by the government.

“Do not forget the Kukës citizens. They are still jailed. Their freedom and dignity are violated. So we should not forget. So today I want to express my gratitude to all those who have raised their voice today in defense of the rights of Kukës and honest citizens.

I urge every Albanian not to expect to become hundreds of tens of millions, but to react each through their own way of reaction. These efforts all together will make a fatal strike to this criminal regime that we have today leading the country”,
