Three days before the January 27th opposition protest, Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha stopped in Shkodra city, where he was welcomed by many sympathizers.

From the northern capital, Basha said that Albanians will unite and together will crackdown this government.

Basha said that the main reason for Albanians to protest is the abandonment made by the government for the past five years, during which the economic situation of the absolute majority of families has deteriorated. Opposition leader stressed that the main cause for the country’s miserable state is the governance of a group of people who bought money with money, crime, drugs, and corruption./
