Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered a speech from the parliament where he apologized to Kukësi citizens on the Nation’s Road toll fee.
He said that the government is responsible for not explaining the new toll road to the citizens thus causing panic and disinformation to the citizens.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the taxation system will not be applied without solving first the problem with the residents of Kukës.
“No toll fee will be applied without giving the best possible solution to that area. We will relieve them from this burden, during this process. I must say that it is our responsibility. We didn’t give the right explanations on the Nation’s Road toll. However, we are intensively working to resolve this situation and to create the optimal opportunity to clarify the inhabitants of Kukës as well as to resolve the Nation’s Road issue”./
