On 17 April, the European Commission is expected to publish a progress report on Albania and the Albanian government expects to receive a positive recommendation for opening EU accession negotiations.
The Prime Minister implied this, with a post after the meeting in Brussels, with Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, a meeting that Rama regards as very positive.
The prime minister says that with Commissioner Hahn a balance of sustainable progress was made in addressing the key integration priorities and highlighted the progress of the Vetting process.
