Democratic Party has submitted to the Serious Crimes Prosecution a document related to former Socialist Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri’s issue.
According to the DP, the international insurance policy for Tahiri’s Audi car, platted “AA 003 GB” proves the former minister’s ties with Habilaj clan. The document is from April 2015 to April 2016 and is issued on behalf of Saimir Tahiri and Artan Habilaj.
“The document submitted at the Serious Crimes Prosecution clearly proves Tahiri’s ties with Artan Habilaj, a member of Habilaj clan. The document is an insurance policy for Tahiri’s Audi car platted “AA 003 GB”, which contains his name and that of Artan Habilaj. This is a clear illustration of the fact that the use of this vehicle guaranteed immunity during the drugs smuggling in and outside the country”,
democrat MP Alibeaj declared.
According to the Democratic Party, the document should be seen as a priority by the prosecution as it proves the connection of Saimri Tahiri with drug smuggling and the facilities provided by Habilaj using the Audi platted AA 003 GB./tvklan.al
