Albania is out of cannabis growers ’s map thanks to the police’s good job done during the recent months. This is what the Minister of Internal Affairs, Fatmir Xhafaj said during the homage made on Martyrs’ Day.
Xhafaj also spoke about police vetting. According to him, the purpose of the vetting law, is to not to penalize the police officers, but to cleanse the state police from the criminal elements.
During these years, according to Xhafaj, significant and difficult reforms have been undertaken, in order to retrieve the citizen’s trust.
“Today, Albania is out of the map which include the countries that cultivate cannabis sativa. Today, Albania is a place where criminal organisations are not silent in their criminal business and today the perpetrators in Albania are identified, caught and arrested”,
