Albania’s Public Prosecutor Office has revealed Wednesday names of 19 prosecutors competing to become part of the new High Council of Prosecution in the country.
The new prosecution body is being established in the framework of the judicial reform taking place in Albania. The Administrative Commission of the General Prosecution found that the following names fulfill the criteria to become part of the new body.
The new High Council of Prosecution will be composed of 6 prosecutors and five other members out of the prosecution institutions.
Six members will be chosen as follows: one from the General Prosecution Office, two from the prosecution offices at the courts of appeal and three others from the prosecution offices at the courts of first instance in districts.
