After several years of investigation, the State Police in collaboration with Italian counterparts managed to destroy a group of marijuana traffickers from Albania to Italy.
In the framework of the “Overseas” operation, Author Deda (alias Lesaj), 38, and Dodë Prela, 53, got arrested, as 41-year-old R.M. and 47-year-old G.K.
Police said that according to the evidence Dodë Prela and Autor Deda are the main financiers and organizers of this traffic. R.M. was in the role of the person providing the drug sales market in Italy, while G.K. has had the role of a narcotics ware houseman.
According to the police, in the role of the carriers were previously arrested also L.M., E.Z. and J.LL, all three from the Lezha District.
Investigations are ongoing on the full documentation of the criminal activity of these citizens, as well as the identification of other possible collaborators./tvklan.al
