The fate of electoral reform will depend on the creation of an anti-mafia government that according to Democrats is the only guarantee of having free and fair elections. The new condition that the blue headquarters has set for the majority was announced by opposition’s leader Lulzim Basha, after the Democratic Party’s parliamentary meeting.

“Electoral reform will start when an anti-mafia government is created. This government has already fallen, there can be no elections with this Prime Minister which is caught by crime and mafia”.

Regarding the mandate of the General Prosecutor Adriatik Lalla for which the majority says it ends on 6 December, Basha said that the Democratic Party will respect the laws and the Constitution.

Although Democrats do not yet have a decision to launch protests, the fight against narcotics crime will be at the center of opposition action in parliamentary committees and plenary sessions./tvklan.al
