The Central Election Commission has decided to confirm the mandates removal of two MPs Aqif Rakipi of PDIU and SMI Gledion Rehovica, following a request made by the prosecution where they are accused for hid in the decriminalization form the fact that he has been subject to criminal proceeding in Italy in grounds of robbery.
At the beginning of the meeting, MP Rakipi’s lawyer requested the suspension of the procedure initiated by the CEC since they had appealed to the Administrative Court the Assembly’s decision to enforce the law on decriminalization and said that his client is not affected by the law decriminalization.
