According to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Albania has not been in this situation since when it was under dictatorship regime.

The former historic leader of Democratic Party, in his speech on the occasion of Youth Day, as he recalled the December 8th 1990, Berisha stressed that the only way to get out of this situation it’s fortitude. He said that the world sees us as a narco-state and young people do not deserve to be called “cannabis generation”.

“December 8 is a day of inspiration.Young people 27 years ago faced the most cruel dictatorship and transformed the country into the Castle of Freedom. 90’s Albania was worse than North Korea today. 96 young men were killed because they wanted to find freedom. The great message of December 8 is fortitude. Life belongs to those who dare”.

“The world sees us as a narco-state”, Berisha further said, while he blamed Prime Minister Edi Rama, whom he said was implicated.

According to former prime minister, Albania’s history must be the overthrow of the narco-state./tvklan.al
