Meta meeting with the leaders of Albanian political parties in Macedonia

During the first day of the official visit, the President of the Republic, Ilir Meta held special meetings with the leaders of Albanian political parties in Macedonia.

The president met with DUI leader Ali Ahmeti; with BESA leader Bilal Kasami, with the chairman of the Alliance for Albanians, Zijadin Sela and with the head of DPA Menduh Thaci.

During these meetings, Meta noted and emphasized the key role of the Albanian political factor for inter-ethnic harmony in Macedonia, and underlined the importance of cooperation and constructive dialogue of all political forces for the future and the Euro-Atlantic integration perspective of Macedonia.

The President stressed the importance of cooperation of all political factors in Macedonia for Euro-Atlantic integration and regional security.

Additionally, the President of the Republic held a special meeting with Macedonian Opposition Chairman (VMRO-DPMNE), Nikola Gruevski, who stressed the importance of the role of the opposition in all Macedonia’s Euro-integration processes./tvklan.al
