The High Council of Justice has held a meeting to review the request of the Ministry of Justice for the dismissal of four judges. They are Ahmet Jangulli, Ergys Selmani, Ken Dhima and Petraq Curri.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the Durrës Judge Petraq Curri has violated the law by releasing Alket Hatija, known as the “God”of drug trafficking.
The dismissal of Fier judge Ergys Selmani was demanded with the reasoning that he delayed the clarification of the restraining order for the citizen Liljana Rukaj who was later killed by her husband Ferdinand Rukaj./tvklan.al
