Two Albanians will face several charges from a federal court in New York after being accused for an ATM and a pharmacy robbery.

The incident took place in October and the alleged robbers are Epirot Krasniqi, 26, and Liridon Gashi, 32, for attempted theft of a financial institution, bank robbery, attempted to steal controlled medications and drug theft.

 According to the indictment, shortly before the closing of the shop between 9 and 10 October, Krasniqi and Gashi, equipped with two wristwatches and some accessories, removed the shop ceiling and forced an ATM.

Albanians stole around $ 14,720 from ATMs.

Local authorities immediately went to the scene after the burglary alarm and found Albanians hiding in the ceiling where the air conditioning pipes crossed.

Initially, Krasniqi and Gashi were indicted by a state court of Rhode Island, but were subsequently released on bail.

Epirot Krasniqi was arrested in New York on Tuesday, while federal arrest warrant was issued for Liridon Gashi./tvklan.al
