The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, in his first press release following MP’s mandate resignation by former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, requested the expulsion of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the creation of an anti-mafia government and the organization of free and fair elections.
“The only solution is the resignation and expulsion of Edi Rama. There is no EU with a mafia government acting through mafia codes. Edi Rama has proved that he is the only obstacle so the only solution is his dismissal from the office, the creation of an anti-mafia government and the organization of free and fair elections”.

, Basha said adding that Rama needed the money generated by drugs to manipulate the elections, and according to him, this is the reason why Rama defends Tahiri.
