Besim Hajdarmataj has been dismissed as director of the Prosecution Office for Serious Crimes.  He took up this office about two years ago when he was appointed by a presidential decree.

Hajdarmataj was dismissed this Wednesday by the Chief Prosecutor Arta Marku as he was replaced by the Durrës Prosecutor Donika Prela.

The motives  of this replacement has not been commented by the Chief Prosecutor but in a short but in a short reaction it is said that this move will bring faster and more effective results in the criminal prosecutions, especially for high priority issues.

Hajdamataj in October asked from the parliament the authorisation for the arrest of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri./tvklan.al
