During the second day of the NATO Summit in Brussels, Prime Minister Rama announces that he has met with US President Donald Trump.
Rama published on social networks a picture and a short video featuring talking with Trump but without giving details of the topic of discussion.
During his speech at the plenary session of the summit, the head of the White House has nominally congratulated Prime Minister Rama for his speech at the dinner of Alliance leaders.
On Friday, Rama will meet with European Council President Donald Tusk.
This meeting takes place after the approval of 28 EU leaders by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the EU of 26 June, paving the way for the start of the accession negotiations of Albania and Macedonia to the EU in June 2019.
It is learned that Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn will visit Albania and Macedonia on July 17 for the official opening of the so-called “scanning” process./tvklan.al
