International Monetary Fund’s mission has arrived in Tirana for a 3 day visit. It is learned that the meetings will be held with the Head of Mission of the Fund and Minister of Finance Arben Ahmetaj and the Governor of the Bank of Albania Gent Sejko.
IMF experts will also meet with other leaders to talk about economic developments in Albania, recent legal changes as well as the budget and fiscal package for 2019.
At the end of the meeting is also planned a press conference of the mission. The visit comes in the framework of the counseling that the mission gives to Albania, as there is no longer a monitoring agreement with the Albanian government./tvklan.al
